Proceeds from the Turkey Trot benefit the wide range of programs of Horizons; Community Health & Nutrition, Financial Health, Mental Health, and Transportation. Horizons is a nationally accredited not-for-profit human services agency serving, educating, and assisting individuals and families at every stage of life so that they may achieve self-sufficiency and their personal best. Additional proceeds also benefit the Feed Lunch to Youth program (FLY), a program supported by the churches of Marion. FLY provides lunches to low-income school age children during school breaks so that they will have a healthy lunch and not go without.
A pancake breakfast will begin before the race starting at 7:30 am and will continue during and after the race. All runners and volunteers are welcome to eat free of charge. For family and friends the cost is $6.

9:00 AM: 8K Run (chip timing ONLY with 8K Run); 5K Family Fun Run/Walk

The online registration site will close 2 days before the race so you can register in person at the times below. Cash and checks will be accepted for in-person registrations.

There is a north and south lot at the high school that people can park in and also lots at Starry Elementary across the street. You’re also free to park on any of the surrounding streets around the high school but please do not block the driveways of residents in neighborhoods.
